The Boston Bruins just played their fourth game in six nights, all of which went to overtime. Although Boston tallied points in all of those contests, including a 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, it doesn’t change the fact that the way they lost wasn’t very awe-inspiring. B’s coach Claude Julien spoke with NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley on “Bruins Overtime Live” to discuss his team’s play. He described the players as being tired, having heavy legs and admitted they need to be sharper mentally. They won’t get much of a chance to relax, though, as they’re back on the ice Saturday before hitting the road for a four-game trip, including a three-game swing through California.
