Tuukka Rask didn’t get a win on his 29th birthday, but he did help the Boston Bruins take over first place in the Atlantic Division. The Bruins lost 3-2 in overtime Thursday to the Carolina Hurricanes, but that one point was enough for them to take over sole possession of first place in their division. But overtime might not have happened if Rask didn’t stop a Nathan Gerbe point-blank opportunity earlier in the contest.
