According to Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports that Brandon Saad will not make his preseason debut for the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight after taking a puck to the mouth during practice.

Saad reportedly lost two teeth, but no further details are immediately evident.

Saad was acquired by the Columbus Blue Jackets from the Chicago Blackhawks this offseason. Shortly after the trade, the Blue Jackets signed Saad to a six-year, $36 million deal.

Not a great start to his Blue Jackets debut.
