Day of Fury wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) Day of Fury pulled a 7-1 upset Wednesday in the $77,000 allowance feature at Belmont Park.

The 4-year-old ridden by Eric Cancel beat Infinite Midnight by 4 1/2 lengths. It was third win in 16 starts for the gelding trained by David Jacobson.

The time was 1:41.36 for the 1 1/16 miles on the fast track.

Day of Fury paid $17, $9.50 and $4.90. Infinite Midnight returned $14.80 and $6.80, and Juan and Bina paid $3.50 to show.
