Glazer: Chuck Pagano on hot seat with Colts

Chuck Pagano, who has made the playoffs in each of his first three seasons as head coach of the Colts, could be out of a job at year's end, according to FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer.

Glazer reports that Pagano is "fighting for his job" after the team offered him a very bad contract extension in the offseason. Pagano is 33-15 in the regular season and 3-3 in the playoffs since taking over the reins in 2012.

It's become a topic in the locker room as players begin to wonder "how can our coach be fighting for his job right now?"

Last year, the Colts stunned the Broncos in the divisional round of the playoffs and advanced to the AFC title game. Pagano's Colts have advanced a round farther in each of his first three seasons as coach.

Last season Glazer predicted that Jim Harbaugh wouldn't be back with the 49ers unless the team won the Super Bowl, so this is a story to monitor throughout the season.
