Green Bay's struggling run defense has suffered another major blow as the Packers prepare to host Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night at Lambeau Field.
A source told FOXSports.com that inside linebacker Sam Barrington has suffered a potentially season-ending ankle injury.
Barrington entered last Sunday's game listed as questionable on the injury report after having hurt his ankle during the preseason. Barrington was out of last Sunday's 31-23 win over Chicago in the second quarter and left the stadium wearing a walking boot.
Combined with the absence of safety Morgan Burnett (calf), the Packers were gouged for 189 rushing yards by the Bears. Only the Minnesota Vikings (230 yards).
